If you are new to Travel Soccer, Welcome! If you are returning, Welcome Back! We are excited to announce that the uniform kit for Travel Soccer is changing for the FALL 2025 Soccer Season. Wondering what the new kit looks like? Check out the attachment.
What is new with this uniform kit?
- Players will now have a home AND away shirt. Why? This helps when we play teams who are the same uniform color as us (which happens frequently).
- Players will now have their last name (no nick names) on their shirts. When entering your child’s last name please be sure to proof it to make sure it is correct.
- The uniform will now have black shorts and you only need to purchase one pair as they go with both shirts.
- We are changing the sock color from blue to black.
What is the same with this uniform kit?
- Player numbers will still be assigned by the Recreation Department. Players will keep this number from when they join the program to when they leave. Why can’t players choose their own number? Assigning numbers this way helps us when team formation shifts around and age groups combine. This is how we ensure they do not repeat.
- We will use this kit for a few seasons, you do not need to purchase a new kit every year, only when your child outgrows their uniform.
Uniform Store Reminders & Link:
- The full uniform package is required for ALL TRAVEL SOCCER PLAYERS playing in the FALL 2025 Travel Soccer season.
- The deadline to order is Wednesday, July 30. This is a hard deadline, please purchase by that date.
- The store also offers extra soccer spirit wear. These pieces are not required.
- For sizing questions, please contact the Bedford Recreation Department (781-275-1392). We have samples that your child can try on.
